Founded in 1919 by Walter Bohn and brothers Carl and Cornelius Walters, the Master Products Company has been a producer of washers and stampings from the beginning. The company startup was a modest venture -- 4,400 square feet of space, a three man shop. The office equipment was comprised of a kitchen table and the factory consisted of four punch presses. Square footage was added in the ensuing decades to reach the current space of 66,000 square feet, housing 52 presses with capacities from 15 to 250 tons. Included in the complex are facilities for a number of secondary operations as well as a die making shop. From day one, Master Products has shown great concern for its people. Now in the third generation of family management, the company has many second and third generation employees. |
